This line graph shows a downward trend in mean glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) measurements over 12 calendar quarters (2019–2022) starting at approximately 6.7% and ending at 6.2%. The first 2 measures, in the second half of 2019, both fell outside the CI, as did the measure in the third quarter of 2021.

Mean glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) measurements among participants (N = 471) in the Clínica Esperanza/Hope Clinic Bridging the [Health Equity] Gap Program, Providence, Rhode Island, July 2019–July 2022. All visits (baseline and follow-up) were used in calculation of means. The regression excluded the outlier found during the Omicron (January 2022) wave of COVID-19. Shading indicates 95% CIs.
