Methods	This was a randomised, double‐blind, placebo‐controlled trial.
Participants	Inclusion criteria of the trial The trial included 14 psoriasis participants with concomitant nail psoriasis. 8 participants with a total of 75 dystrophic nails were assigned to the calcipotriol group; 6 participants with 60 nails involved were given placebo.
Interventions	Topical calcipotriol Placebo (white petrolatum)
Outcomes	Outcomes of the trial A clinical visual rating scale was devised to grade the severity of the nails (0 = normal, 1 = slightly affected, 2 = moderately affected, 3 = severely affected) for each of the following features: pitting, grooves, subungual hyperkeratosis, and onycholysis. Adverse events were assessed in both the treatment group and placebo group.
