A, B) RLMVEC were either treated with exogenous recombinant rat IFNβ (1-100U/mL) or transfected with HCV-derived X RNA or poly(I:C) (100ng). RNA (18 hours) and lysates (24 hours) were collected post-treatment and subjected to comparative RT-PCR analysis (A) or immunoblotting (B). C) RLMVEC were transfected with indicated amounts of total RNA isolated from either mock-infected Vero E6 cells (cRNA) or SEOV-infected Vero E6 cells (icRNA).
