Tabersonine is a hub of the monoterpene indole alkaloid (MIA) metabolism.

Characterized reactions from tabersonine are represented with solid arrows compared to dotted arrows for unknown reactions. Pink or green MIA names represent alkaloids from Catharanthus roseus or Tabernaemontana elegans, respectively.
