The percentage of statistically significant worst-parent contrasts ($p<0.05$) was estimated from tests of the null hypothesis of no difference between hybrid and worst-parent EMMs ($H_0$: ${\overline{y}}_{F_1}-{\overline{y}}_{WP}=0$) using a 5% Type I error threshold. EMMs were estimated from phenotypes of parents and hybrids observed across clonal replicates, harvests, and years for fruit yield, count, weight, firmness, TSS, TA, and ANC.
