The immunization route differentially affects the induction of CD8⁺ Trm cells in the liver and the lungs. hCD46⁺/IFNAR^−/− mice (n = 4–6 per group) were immunized by IM, IP, in or IV route with 10⁵ TCID₅₀ of MV Schwarz. Twenty-one days post-immunization, lymphocytes were extracted from organs (liver, lungs, and spleen). (a) The percentage of CD8⁺ T cells (CD8⁺), resident memory CD8⁺ T cells (CD8⁺ Trm) and measles specific Trm (TrmMV) were determined in the liver of immunized animals. (b) The percentage of CD8⁺, CD8⁺ Trm, Trm CD49⁺ CD103⁺, and TrmMV were determined in the lungs of immunized animals. Each data point represents an individual mouse.
