BALB/c mice (n = 6) were orally administered 300 parasite eggs prepared from an E. multilocularis-infected dog. Five weeks later, ATV + 3BP or ABZ was administered by mixed feeding (200 mg/kg/day each). 3BP was administered at 25 mg/kg/day mixed with honey twice a week. ATV + 3BP administration was as effective as ABZ.
