Bulk antennal tissue expression of Drosophila V-ATPase subunit and other genes with known involvement in proton transmembrane transport, alongside antennal and housekeeping reference genes. Myriad V-ATPase genes are highly abundant in expression in various antennal tissues, including all functional subunits. Two antennal RNA-seq datasets show contrasting expression across fly sex [58] and wildtype Canton-S vs. ato mutant flies lacking coeloconic sensilla of the IR olfactory subsystem [59].
