Mechanism of intrapancreatic fat deposition-induced pancreatitis. In intrapancreatic fat deposition, chronic endogenous tissue stress and dysfunction initiate a persistent inflammatory response. Over time, this inflammation escalates, eventually manifesting as clinically significant acute pancreatitis.
