The components of the O35EkdtA (A) were identified as indicated and show the presence of lipid A fatty acids (3-OHC12:0, 3-OHC10:0, etc.) and N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc), as well as the fatty acids C16:0 and C18:1, due to the presence of phospholipids (A). The components of the O35E (B) showed the sugar constituents (Kdo, Gal [galactose], Glc [glucose], and GlcNAc) and lipid A fatty acids (3-OHC12:0). Inositol was added as internal standard.
