In the top panel is shwon a Western immunoblot probed with anti-NIK antibody. For the bottom panel, the blot was probed with β-actin internal control. The experiment was repeated more than three times with similar results. (B) Effect of NIK knock-down on RSV-induced p52 nuclear translocation. A549 cells were treated with control or NIK-specific siRNA for 72 h, followed by RSV infection for 15 h. Afterward, NEs were prepared, and the level of nuclear p52 protein was determined by Western blotting.
