gE colocalizes with viral glycoproteins and capsids but not with synaptic vesicle protein. Cultured neurons were infected with wild-type PRV for 14 h, fixed, permeabilized, and labeled with antibodies that recognize gE (D to F) and either gB (A), VP5 (B), or SV2 (C).
