Sensitivity of NASBA-ECL, 100%. Sensitivity of NASBA-beacon, 94.5% overall: 35 of 37 (94.5%) EV-positive CSF samples and 17 of 18 (94.4%) EV-positive stool samples. The specificity of both assays was 100%. NASBA-ECL and NASBA-beacon were not significantly different (P = 0.2482 by McNemar's test).
