The effect of temperature on the ABA concentration in the abaxial epidermis and in the total leaf of C. communis when detached leaves were incubated under a PPFD of 350 μmol m⁻² s⁻¹ in the presence or absence of 10⁻⁶ m ABA for 3 h. Results are means of five separate experiments at each temperature and in each experiment the epidermis (and the remaining tissue) from 15 leaves was bulked for ABA analysis by radioimmunoassay.
