^adGuo (1 mM) was incubated with myeloperoxidase (50 nM) in the presence of H₂O₂ (200 µM) and NaCl (100 mM) in 100 mM sodium phosphate buffer (pH 4.7) at 37°C for 30 min. The reaction mixture was analyzed by RP-HPLC after termination by addition of 400 µM N-AcCys (+N-AcCys) or without termination (–N-AcCys). Means ± SD (n = 3) are presented.
