Selected compounds tested as inhibitors of the tautomerase activity of MIF

Recombinant human MIF was treated with various concentrations of the compounds for 5 min, and residual enzyme activity was determined using dopachrome methyl ester (1) as a substrate. IC₅₀ values (50% MIF inhibition) were determined based on the activity of untreated MIF.
