Crosslinking of wt and mutant Pmp22 in transfected COS7 cells. Cells were transfected with Myc-tagged wt, TrJ, or Tr Pmp22 or the expression vector without DNA insert (vector). After crosslinking with DSP, the Myc-tagged Pmp22 proteins were immunoprecipitated with anti-c-Myc antibody. The immunoprecipitates were treated with sample buffer (lanes 1–4) or sample buffer with DTT (lanes 5–8) followed by separation by SDS/PAGE. Pmp22 was detected by Western blot using anti-Myc antibody.
