Human PBMC and monocytes from 11 donors were purified and stimulated with each of the bacterial strains at a concentration of 1 × 10⁷ CFU per ml. IL-12 and IL-10 concentrations were measured by ELISA in the cell-free supernatant after 24 h. Results are expressed as IL-10/IL-12 ratio.
