BL-regulated CPD gene expression in bri1 and bin2 mutants. Total RNAs were isolated from 12-d-old seedlings grown on medium with (+) or without (−) 1 μm BL, run on a denaturing agarose gel, and transferred to a nylon membrane. Hybridization was performed first with a probe derived from the CPD gene. To compare loading levels of different samples, the membranes were stripped and rehybridized with an 18S rDNA probe.
