Kinetic analyses of pAtDEF1 and 2 activity. pAtDEF1 (A and B) and pAtDEF2 (C and D) data using N-formyl-Met-Leu-ρ-nitroanilide and Aeromonas proteolytica aminopeptidase (A and C) or N-formyl-Met-Ala-Ser and formate dehydrogenase (B and D) were fitted to the Michaelis-Menten equation using SigmaPlot (Windows Version 4.0; SPSS, Inc.).
