Localization of CFP-Cdc42p and Myo1p-YFP during cytokinesis. Plasmids p416MET(CFP-CDC42) and pLP08 containing MYO1-YFP under the MYO1 endogenous promoter were transformed into wild-type strain TRY11-7D. The cells were then prepared and observed as in Fig. 3. Large-budded cells were observed at ≈1- to 2-min intervals through CFP-Cdc42p's clustering at the mother-bud neck and Myo1p-YFP's starting to contract and disappear.
