Note: β1 (Eq. 1) is standardized and can be interpreted like r (0.10 = small, 0.30 = medium, 0.50 = large; Cohen, 1992). Second date decision odds ratios were converted to r using the tool provided by Lenhard and Lenhard (2022). Effect size q for the gender difference refers to the difference between the Men β1 and Momen β1 and has an effect size interpretation similar to r (negative qs are the opposite of the predicted direction; Cohen, 1992). P value for the gender differences refers to the interaction term between parameter β1 and gender when the interaction was added (along with the gender main effect) to Eq. 1. ***P < 0.001.
