(A) HEK293-hP2X₇/pmeLUC (red trace) and HEK293-pmeLUC (green trace) were placed in the luminometer chamber and perfused with isotonic buffer followed by a hypotonic solution obtained by diluting the standard saline buffer with distilled water (1–4; final tonicity 78 mOsm/l), followed again by isotonic buffer.
