(A) Enzyme activity was measured at 40 °C for 10 min, using laminarin as substrate, in citrate/phosphate buffer (●) at pH 3.0–7.4 and in KH₂PO₄/Na₂B₄O₇ buffer (○) at pH 6.4–8.9. (B) Enzyme activity was measured in citrate/phosphate buffer, pH 4.9, for 10 min, using laminarin as substrate. Each assay was performed with 0.65 μg of protein/ml.
