PR264/SC35 protein expression in control and TPA treated HL-60 and HL-60 variant cell lines. (A) Proteins were analysed by western blotting as described in fig 4 ▶. The membrane areas containing proteins ranging from 40 kDa to 20 kDa were probed with the PR264 polyclonal antibodies. Proteins were revealed with the enhanced chemiluminescence system. Only the regions corresponding to the PR264/SC35 proteins are shown. The membranes were subsequently stained with Coomassie blue reagent to control for varying amounts of transferred proteins. (B) Variations in protein amounts were estimated from densitometric analysis of the autoradiograms. Histograms indicate the variations of C-MYB protein values. The values were the mean ± SD of three experiments.
