ScMre11 is a high affinity G4 DNA-binding protein. Reaction mixtures contained 3 nM of indicated radiolabeled DNA (lane 1) and ScMre11p at 25, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140 and 150 nM (lanes 2–13) in the absence of divalent metal ions. (A) ³²P-labeled G4 DNA; (B) ³²P-labeled ssDNA; (C) ³²P-labeled duplex DNA (38 bp); and (D) graph showing quantitative comparison of ScMre11p binding to G4 DNA, G-rich single-stranded and duplex DNA.
