ScMre11p binds preferentially to G4 DNA. Reactions were performed with 3 nM ³²P-labeled G4 DNA and 0.1 μM ScMre11p as described in Materials and Methods. After incubation for 10 min, buffer or aliquots of indicated unlabeled competitors were added to the reaction mixture. Lane 2, no addition, and lanes 3–7, poly(dT) (A), poly(dC) (B) or poly(dG) (C) at 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 nM; or porphyrin (D) at 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 μM, respectively. Samples were analyzed as described in Materials and Methods.
