Scheme 4 — Chromatograms before (A, C) and after the standard addition of [N1-HETE]-His (B) and [N3-HETE]-His (D) to the HD-exposed plasma following pronase digestion. UHPLC-TQ MS (MRM) conditions: a monitored transition of 260.1 → 105.0 in positive electrospray ionization (ESI) mode. Separation was achieved using a C18 Zorbax Eclipse Plus reversed phase column (1.8 μm, 150 × 2.1 mm I.D.) employing a gradient elution program, with the mobile phase comprising water and acetonitrile at a flow rate of 1.0 mL min⁻¹.
