BOR1-GFP mRNA accumulation in P35S:BOR1-GFP transgenic plants quantified by reverse transcription-mediated real-time PCR. The transgenic plants (line 15 and line 18) were supplied with high-B (+B) or low-B media (-B) for 6 days. Accumulation of the BOR1-GFP mRNA relative to ubiquitin10 (UBQ10) mRNA in roots and shoots was determined. Values are normalized with the mean for the root of line 15 plants (+B). Averages and standard deviations from three or four batches of plant materials are shown. Relative mRNA levels were not significantly different between the +B and -B conditions (P > 0.3, Student's t test).
