BMAL1 as an enhancer of lipid synthesis activity in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. 3T3-L1 adipocytes were infected with an adenovirus carrying LacZ or BMAL1 at a multiplicity of infection of ≈30 for 24 h. (A) The infected cells were incubated with 0.5 mM [¹⁴C]sodium acetate in differentiation medium for 90 min, after which the cells were harvested for measurement of ¹⁴C-labeled fatty acids and cholesterol.
