Fermut cells are selectively resistant to TNF-induced death and have similar sensitivity to zVAD-enhanced cell death in comparison to wild-type L929 cells. (a) Wild-type (Wt) and Fermut cells were treated with different concentrations of TNF, H2O2, mytomycin, 5-fluorouracil, and vincristine for 48, 9, 96, 65, and 96 h, respectively, or with different doses of UV light. Cell viability was measured as described above. (b) Wild-type and Fermut cells were treated with TNF (100 ng/ml) and/or zVAD (1 μM or 10 μM) in different combinations for 24 h. Cell viabilities were measured.
