Correction for Pitzen et al., Comparative transcriptomics reveals a mixed basal, club, and hillock epithelial cell identity in castration-resistant prostate cancer

PMCID: PMC12002331  PMID: 40153473

Correction for “Comparative transcriptomics reveals a mixed basal, club, and hillock epithelial cell identity in castration-resistant prostate cancer,” by Samuel P. Pitzen, Amber N. Rudenick, Yinjie Qiu, Weijie Zhang, Sarah A. Munro, Braedan M. McCluskey, Colleen Forster, Hannah E. Bergom, Atef Ali, Ella Boytim, John T. Lafin, Simon Linder, Mazlina Ismail, Wout Devlies, Conner J. Sessions, Frank Claessens, Steven Joniau, Gerhardt Attard, Wilbert Zwart, Peter S. Nelson, Eva Corey, Yuzhuo Wang, Joshua M. Lang, Himisha Beltran, Douglas Strand, Emmanuel S. Antonarakis, Justin Hwang, Paari Murugan, R. Stephanie Huang, and Scott M. Dehm, which published February 6, 2025; 10.1073/pnas.2415308122 (Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 122, e2415308122).

The authors note that on page 6, second full paragraph, lines 1 to 3, “KLF5 is located on the same arm of chromosome 21 as RB1, and a subset of prostate cancers are hemizygous for both genes (28).” should instead appear as, “KLF5 is located on the same arm of chromosome 13 as RB1, and a subset of prostate cancers are hemizygous for both genes (28).” This error does not affect the scientific conclusions of the paper. The online version has been corrected.
