(A) The portal areas are moderately infiltrated by a mixed inflammatory cell population, comprised chiefly of lymphocytes, plasma cells, and some macrophages. Inflammation abuts all portal structures, but a tendency to peribiliary condensation is present. Bile duct proliferation is present and extends into the adjacent parchyma.
