Yield of aniline and alcohol (only for M2 and M3) products from the conversion of (a) M1, (b) M2 and (c) M3, yield of ethanol from the conversion of M1 was not quantified. Reaction conditions: model carbamate (250 mg), catalyst (25 mg), H2 (10 bar), 200 °C, 2 hours (M1 and M3) and 3.5 hours (M2). The products were analysed using GC-MS. Full data of the conversions is available in Supplementary Tables 1-3.
