Microglial cells were cultured in 96-well plates and stimulated for 24 h with increasing concentrations of HSPG, or 100 ng/ml LPS. Mean values ± SD of assays performed with culture media supernatants collected and pooled from triplicate wells for each condition are shown (n = 9).
