Direct anterior approach used in conjunction with lateral approach to femur for THA conversion. The above photo depicts the usage of the DAA for exposure of the femoral head/neck and acetabulum for THA, as well as a separate lateral incision for removal of the prior sliding hip screw construct. Both incisions were easily accessible with standard supine positioning and draping.
