LM-PCR products generated with the 3′-overhanging linker (Fig. 7) were cloned and subjected to DNA sequence analysis. The duplex sequence for each locus is shown, as in Fig. 4, with 5′-deleted sequences in lowercase type. Palindromic 3′ extensions are underlined.
