Viability of fission yeast mutants in response to sodium arsenite and hydrogen peroxide. (A) Serial dilutions (1/5) of wild-type, spc1Δ, atf1Δ, pap1Δ, atf1Δ pap1Δ, and zip1 (sup9) cultures were plated on YES, YES plus 0.1 mM hydrogen peroxide, or YES plus 0.3 mM sodium arsenite plates. Pictures were taken after 2 days of growth at 30°C.
