(B) Anabaena sp. strain L-31 cells were subjected to heat shock (HS) at 42°C for 30 min in the presence or absence of 5 mM K⁺. (C) Anabaena sp. strain L-31 cells grown in BG-11/K0.1 were filtered onto filter paper disks and desiccated under illumination for the specified time intervals.
