Summary of transcriptional responses within and between steady states. Significant findings (adjusted P, <0.05) are reported for global transcriptional responses within and between the mechanical steady states at 80°C (dilution rates of 0.25 h⁻¹ and 0.17 h⁻¹) and 85°C (dilution rate of 0.25 h⁻¹). Differentially expressed ORFs within a given steady state for all three mechanical steady states are summed together and reported as “Steady State.” Significant ORFs in each pie chart are mutually exclusive to the stated category.
