Mast cell localization within the airways of CCR3−/− and wild-type mice after allergen challenge. Increased numbers of mast cells were found in the submucosa (a) and epithelia of the large bronchi (c and e) of OA-challenged CCR3-deficient mice compared to those of wild-type controls (b and d, respectively).
