The table presents aggregated prevalence data by WHO region for variants under monitoring (VuM) XEC and KP.3.1.1, as reported in the GISAID and WHO variant surveillance summaries. The prevalence percentages reflect the proportion of submitted sequences in each region during the specified weeks. Data from Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Eastern Mediterranean were not reported, or only isolated sequences were included. Data were accessed in compliance with GISAID’s Terms of Use (https://www.gisaid.org/, accessed on 30 June 2025).
