The small empty boxes represent intermediate haplotypes not recovered in this analysis. Lines separating the haplotype boxes, no matter what their length, represent a single point mutation or insertion/deletion event. Haplotypes in solid line boxes are T. ramosissima or T. chinensis, and those in colored boxes are found in both Eurasia and U.S. Haplotypes in dashed boxes are known from species other than T. ramosissima or T. chinensis. Letters next to lines represent homoplasious mutations.
