Genotypes are indicated at the top. The pictures indicating immunostaining in different mutants were obtained with identical data-recording settings. The inset shows Ada2b and wild-type polytene chromosomes immunostained in a mixed preparation with H3AcK14-specific polyclonal antibody. Chromosomes were identified on the basis of the structure of balancer chromosomes in wild-type animals.
