Cellular localization of ORF29p. 293T cells were (A) infected with VZV at an MOI of 1 or (B) were transiently transfected with p29-12, a DNA construct expressing ORF29p from a chicken actin promoter. Two days postinfection or posttransfection, cells were fixed and the localization of ORF29p and gE were examined by indirect immunofluorescence microscopy. Nuclei were counterstained with Hoechst 33258. Images were collected as described in Materials and Methods.
