The EQ-5D-Y- 3L and EQ-5D-Y-5L are commonly used worldwide to measure health-related quality of life in children and adolescents.
The EQ-5D-Y-3L and EQ-5D-Y-5L showed moderate certainty of evidence for content validity whereas the EQ-5D-Y-3L had higher certainty of evidence for other measurement properties compared with other versions.
The risk of bias of most of the studies of all EQ-5D versions in children and adolescents ranged from doubtful to inadequate quality.
