(A) AND×B10.A transgenic splenocytes (3 × 10⁵) were incubated with the indicated doses of peptides for 72 h and proliferation was measured by [³H]thymidine incorporation. (B) CFSE-labeled AND T cells (10⁵) and CH27 APCs (5 × 10⁴), an effector to target ratio of 2:1, were incubated with the indicated concentrations of peptides for 24 h, then the cells were stained with 7-amino actinomycin D (7-AAD). The percentage of dead CH27 cells (7-AAD+) were determined by flow cytometry after gating out CFSE+ T cells.
