Changes of distribution of recycled L1 on growth cones over time. Recycled L1 on growth cones was visualized as shown in Figure 5, and the distribution patterns were categorized into three classes: recycled L1 found only along the leading edge (Class 1), on the growth cone body (Class 3), or on both (Class 2). There was a statistically significant difference between the 30 and 45 min time points (p < 0.0001) and between the 45 and 60 min time points (p < 0.0001).
