Summary statistics for the resting potential (Er), driving-force reversal point (RP), action potential duration (APD90), and time-to-RP (TTRP) normalized to the action potential duration (TTRPn) at 5, 10, and 15 mmol/L [Na+]i of myocytes from normal and failing hearts. Nn and Nf indicate number of normal and failing hearts correspondingly; n5, n10, and n15, number of myocytes at 5, 10, and 15 mmol/L [Na+]i correspondingly.

*

Statistically significant difference (P<0.05) between a given parameter and its value recorded at 10 mmol/L [Na+]i.

statistical significance (P<0.05) between normal and failing groups at the same [Na+]i.
