(c) Optic nerve head imaging using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) revealed only borderline thinning of the superior retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) and ganglion cell complex (GCC), which is insufficient to explain the VF defect observed without the KIROS filter. This case highlights the filter’s ability to reduce false-positive classifications or over-diagnosis, potentially improving diagnostic specificity by minimizing the impact of noise or artifacts.
